In every company I’ve worked so far there was a minority of people pushing things forward and a majority – the rest of the crew, expressing their wonder: What the hell do they want?
There is a way to survive corporate environment without significant consequences and live a relatively peaceful live. The lucky ones can even be happy while doing it.
One would say that people should not be classified and that every individual is different. Of course, that’s true, but I have realized that you can simply find certain typology of characters in every working environment and in 90% of the cases their behavior will be 100% consistent to the type of the character they belong to. Of course, psychology as science is dedicating a lot of effort and studies to this topic but I’m not talking about scientific classifications and theories here.
The toughest thing for me is to stop doing things no one expects me to do – just because I’m capable of doing them. You know those people who can’t resist saving poor animals from the streets when they see them? Well, in my case, poor animals are various business challenges.
A few nights ago, I had a small reunion with a team that I worked with 6 years ago. For blog readers who don’t know me well, I was the first publisher of Sensa magazine in Serbia.
